The Times just released its 2013 Good Universities Guide Rankings. For U.K. law schools, the rankings remain mainly the same as they were in the 2012 edition of the Good Universities Guide. The biggest differences are that Edinburgh jumped from number 13 to number 7, while Newcastle, previously ranked at number 9, failed to make the top 10. Edinburgh’s jump up the list also pushed down both Queen Mary University of London and Reading one position.

Although the rankings are based on the undergraduate programs at these U.K. law schools, the rankings remain nonetheless indicative of the quality of the LL.M. programs at these schools (see here for more on LL.M. rankings).
