Continuing on with our coverage of the latest law school rankings for 2018/2019, we now present the most recent Complete University Guide Ranking (or ‘League Tables’) of the best UK law schools.
According to the 2019 Complete University Guide Ranking, these are the Top 10 best law faculties in the United Kingdom (as always, with last year’s ranking in brackets for purposes of comparison):
1. Cambridge (1)
2. Glasgow (5)
3. Oxford (2)
4. London School of Economics, LSE (3)
5. Aberdeen (10)
6. University College London, UCL (4)
7. Durham (6)
8. Dundee (16)
9. King’s College London (9)
10. Edinburgh (7)
Looking at the changes at the top, Cambridge keeps the #1 spot, but Oxford is surpassed by Glasgow, which is now ranked as the second best UK law faculty. The LSE and UCL also fall, with the former losing one rank and the latter two ranks. The big winners this year are Dundee and Aberdeen, which gain 5 and 8 ranks, respectively. King’s College London (Dickson Poon School of Law) remains stable in 9th position and Edinburgh just managed to stay in the Top 10.
