2014 US News Law School Ranking

The 2014 U.S. News Law School Ranking has been released. There was only little movement among the top 10 law schools, although Harvard has gained one spot (now tied for second place with Stanford) and Chicago and Michigan have also risen one spot to No. 4 and No. 9, respectively. “Go-To Law Schools”

The latest annual ranking of “Go-To Law Schools” has been released. The National Law Journal has once more ranked the top 50 law schools by the percentage of 2011 J.D. graduates who took jobs at the largest U.S. law firms. The latest issue of the National Jurist contains a law school ranking alternative to the dominant U.S. News ranking. The National Jurist Best Law School Ranking uses an unorthodox methodology – explained in more detail here – and has already stirred debate. Maclean’s, a Canadian national weekly current affairs magazine, has now issued its 2012 Maclean’s Law School Ranking. Created in co-operation with Chicago law professor Brian Leiter, Maclean’s sixth annual law school ranking is based on both Graduate Quality (50%) and Faculty Quality (50%). Tax LLM Rankings – New Survey Released

LL.M. rankings, until recently very rarely found, are now becoming increasingly common. The latest evidence is JobsInTax.com’s newly released ranking of tax law LL.M. programs.
